My listener, turned friend, share her story of being a transgender woman. I have had some other transgender women on Ongline before. But they are usually at the later part of the transition process. I thought it would be nice to let people know in details of what the process is like, and hopefully inspire further understanding and compassion.
Cathy is generous enough to share her time and stories with us.

We talked about flood this week. We all read and heard so many stories from our neighbor Thailand about the flood. We talked about the danger and sometimes for kids, fun, of a flood. We also have a listener reported directly from Bangkok, and shared some pictures too. Obviously we can't omit the disaster that a big flood can cause.
One of listener's friends who is a St John's ambulance member shared this link on Facebook asking for donation in the form of bottled water.
If you know of organizations who would take monetary donations, please do so, but beware of scams. Just check carefully and use your own judgement.

这家位于槟城Straight Quey 的 Aqua,原来是一家地中海风味的餐厅。这次的固本优惠是一大盘的美食，集合了多个国家的风味，每个portion 都只是一点点，因此两个人已经很够吃了。

Timeline of Steve Jobs
1955: Stephen Paul Jobs is born on Feb 24.
1972: Enrolls into Reed College in Oregon, but drop the course after 1 semester.
1974: Works for video game maker Atari which is Steve’s first job.
1976: Apple Computer is formed. shortly after Wozniak and Jobs create a new computer circuit board in a Silicon Valley garage. A third co-founder, Ron Wayne, leaves the company after less than two weeks.
1984: The Macintosh computer was introduced and goes on sale. It was the first commercially successfully small computer with a Graphical User Interface.
1985: Jobs fired from Apple and he founded Next Inc. (a new computer company making high-end machines for universities).
1986: Jobs founded Pixar for the price of $10 million.
1989: First NeXT computer goes on sale a price of $6,500.
1996: Jobs rejoined Apple and is appointed an adviser to Apple.
1997: Jobs becomes CEO
2001: Apple launches iPod and OS X
2003: Apple launches the iTunes Music Store.
2004: Jobs undergoes surgery for pancreatic cancer.
2005: Apple expands the iPod line with the tiny Nano and an iPod that can play video.
2007: Apple releases its first smartphone, the iPhone.
2009: Jobs went on medical leave and returns to work in June. Later he underwent a liver transplant.
2010: Apple sells 15 million iPad in nine months.
Jan. 17, 2011: Jobs announces a second medical leave with no set duration.
Aug. 24, 2011: Jobs resignsand was replaced by Cook as the CEO.
Oct. 5, 2011: Jobs dies at 56.

Problem with PPSTV Cannot See Chinese Fonts
October 21, 2011 6:52 amI see many of them facing a problem which is they can't read the fonts on PPS.TV. I have also faced that problem before, but now I will share with you how to solve it.
Okay now, all you have to do is:
1) Download pps.tv from download.pps.tv
2) After the installion, download Microsoft Applocale from my SKYDRIVE or from the MICROSOFT web.
3) Install Microsoft Applocale to your computer.
- For Window 7 users, before the installation, you may need to right-click on the installer "apploc.msi" > Select to Compatibility > Mark "Run this program in compatibility mode for" > Select "previous version of window" on a drop down menu (as long as there is only one selection). Install it as well after you have applied.
5) Click OK and browse the program which you wish to run (PPS.TV) from your computer.
7) Select the language. Example: 中文简体
8) Mark to make a shortcut you wish to open it easier for the next time in "Start Menu > All Program > Microsoft Applocale".
9) You have done!
Does it mean SIRI couldn't understand our Malaysian English too?
Assistant features voice Phone4S "Siri" I used to. English is too poor, and can not be recognized at all, "Excuse me, can not understand" is said to be rid.
